Solomon Amuno joined the NIRB in July 2014 with over 10 years’ experience focused on environmental monitoring, environmental assessment and ecotoxicology. He holds a PhD in Environmental Science and currently an adjunct professor at the School of Environment and Sustainability, University of Saskatchewan. He currently works as a Technical Advisor II in the NIRB’s Technical Department. He is also a professional member of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) and presently undertaking basic training in Inuktitut language. Outside of the office, Solomon enjoys exploring the arctic environment and spending time with his family and participating in local community events.
